Let’s start this one off with a question – why would you put chemicals on your face, or body, if you only eat healthy, or organic?
One of the core values of all natural skincare is the possibility not to put anything on your biggest organ that you wouldn’t put in your body. What this means is that you should not put products on your skin that you do not want in your body. Don’t forget that the skin is an organ too, and we should treat it with the same care we treat our internal organs. There are natural skincare products in retail stores, and online, however we suspect that they can never be as pure as something you can make your own.
Another positive in making your own skincare products is that you can learn new skills, and save some money. Most of the skincare recipes are made from items and ingredients that you already have in your fridge, or pantry, and there is a vast majority of recipes you can try.
Why Oatmeal? – Oatmeal has the ability to clean clogged pores, and if you add onion to the mixture, you have a homemade product that will heal the acne scars. It would be very wise to take advantage of this, and try the recipe.

Take one and a half once of boiling water, and add three teaspoons of oatmeal in, and let it boil for a few minutes. While the oatmeal boils, peel one medium sized onion and throw it in the food processor till it becomes a very smooth puree. Remove the oatmeal from fire and add the puree to the warmed oatmeal. Mix the two ingredients and try adding some on your face. In some cases it will not show a steadiness that will put up with your face, however adding just a bit of honey will bring the mask to perfection.
