What Should I Mix Coconut Oil With?

 1. Baking Soda and Coconut Oil for Wrinkles

The added baking soda will tighten and lift the skin, which will effectively reduce the appearance of skin wrinkles. The mix of the two will also exfoliate dead skin and tighten the pores.

Grab a glass jar, and add 1/4 cup of coconut oil in it, and 3 spoons of baking soda. Mix them well with a spoon. Add two drops of tea tree oil and two drops of  lavender oil, and mix again. Mix until the ingredients becomes homogeneous. Keep the glass jar in the bathroom, and whenever you’re ready to treat yourself, get a spoon out of the mixture and massage your face gently. Leave the mixture on your face for 7 minutes, and rinse with water.

Why it works: It’ll nourish the skin and make it extra soft. The coconut oil will nourish your skin, while the baking soda will clean it.

2. Vitamin E and Coconut Oil For Wrinkles

Take one Vitamin E capsule and squeeze the oil from it in a glass or a jar. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil in it. When the two have blended together, it is ready for use. Use the remedy to massage the area affected by wrinkles. Leave it on for 18-20 minutes, and wash it down with water.

Mix one tablespoon of coconut oil and 1/2 tablespoon of raw honey in a glass or a jar. Add the mixture on the area affected by wrinkles, and leave it for 1 hour. Wash it down with water and pat it dry.

  • Meadowfoam Seed Oil

  • Shea Butter
  • Beeswax
  • Vitamin E
  • Lavender oil

Prep Time: 5 minutes


Take a glass bowl and place it in a water pot. Add the Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax and Meadowfoam seed oil. Keep the stove on a medium heat, and make sure the water does not boil. After all the ingredients melt together, remove it from fire. Add the Vitamin E and Lavander oil to the mixture and mix till the mixture becomes homogeneous. Pour the mixture on a balm tube. Apply the mixture in thin layers in the areas around the eyes.

Why it works: Once applied, the mixture will absorb and create a barrier that will prevent your skin from de-moisturizing. Plus, It’ll make the skin wrinkle free and extra soft.

Prep Time: 5 minutes.


Take a tablespoon of rice flour and put in a glass bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil, and add 2 tablespoons of vitamin C powder. Mix the ingredients well so it forms a paste. If the mixture is too hard, add a few drops of milk to make it smoother. Whenever you’re ready to use it, apply it to your skin and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes. Wash it down with water when done.

Why it works: The mixture will improve the elasticity of the skin, reduce the wrinkles and keep your skin nourished.
